NOVAS ESPACIALIDADES URBANO-REGIONAIS PERANTE A EXPANSÃO DO MEIO TÉCNICO-CIENTÍFICO-INFORMACIONAL: o exemplo de Uberlândia (new local urban spatiality in the expansion of technical, scientific and informational means: Uberlandia’s example)
Abstract
A presente pesquisa objetiva conhecer a inserção de conteúdos do período técnico-científico-informacional em Uberlândia, especificamente no que diz respeito à sua manifestação espacial, isto é, à constituição e expansão do meio técnico-científico-informacional, cuja ocorrência data dos anos de 1970. A partir daí, buscou-se também compreender as relações entre esses indicadores modernizantes e a consolidação do papel regional da referida cidade.

ABSTRACT
The present study aims recognizing the insertion of contents from techno-scientific-informational period in Uberlândia, specifically regarding the space occupies, that is, the constructing and expanding of a techno-scientificinformational milieu, which emerged in the decade of 1970. From this point, an understanding of the relationship between these modernizing indicators and the consolidation of the regional position of the abovementioned city was sought.
