GEOGRAFIA E GÊNERO: da crítica à racionalidade a uma aproximação pós-estruturalista (geography and gender: from the critique of rationality toward post-structuralism)
Abstract
O presente ensaio tem por objetivo discutir a abordagem de gênero sob a luz da crítica à racionalidade branca, masculina e européia. Evidencia-se que a discussão ao modelo de racionalidade científica não é autentica ao momento atual, pois suas raízes remontam a própria sistematização da ciência moderna. Deste modo os estudos de gênero alinham-se aos debates já existentes a matriz teórico-metodológica racionalista. Da mesma forma demonstramos que o gênero e a Geografia até então categorizados, tencionam as forças postas através do espaço. Porém, esta não rompe totalmente com as fronteiras dicotômicas. Apontamos para a possibilidade de incorporar na pauta geográfica um olhar não dicotômico relacionado apenas a homens e mulheres, mas uma agenda que dê visibilidade a sujeitos que não se estruturam nestas rígidas fronteiras de gênero se constituindo para além da organização posta.

The present practice own at objective discuss the approach of gender below the light of the critic the rationality write, masculine and european. Is evidence as the discussion of the model of rationality scientific no is authentic of the moment now, for her bases remounting the particular systematization of science modern. Of this mode the students of gender lined the debates now existents the matrix theoretical-methodology rationalist. RESUMEN
El presente ensayo tiene por objetivo abordar el género bajo la luz crítica de la racionalidad blanca, masculina y europea. Es evidente que la discusión del modelo de racionalidad científica no es auténtica con el momento actual, pues sus raíces se remontan a la propia sistematización de la ciencia moderna. De este modo los estudios de género acompañan a los debates ya existentes en la matriz teórico-metodológica racionalista. De la misma forma demostramos que el género y la Geografía hasta entonces categorizados, proyectan las fuerzas dispuestas a través del espacio. Sin embargo, esta no rompe totalmente con las fronteras dicotómicas. Apuntamos hacia la posibilidad de incorporar en la pauta geográfica una mirada no dicotómica relacionada solamente a hombres y mujeres, pero una agenda que dé visibilidad a los sujetos que no se estructuran en estas rígidas fronteras de género constituyéndose más allá de la organización dispuesta.
