O DESENVOLVIMENTO DO CONCEITO DE PAISAGEM E A SUA INSERÇÃO NA GEOGRAFIA FÍSICA (the development of landscape concept and its interaction with physical geography)
Abstract
O conceito de paisagem é polissêmico e resulta de uma represen-tação filosófica e social. Com as reflexões de Goethe, Humboldt, Ritter e Richthofen na geografia física, a paisagem passou a ser compreendida como o resultado de uma relação entre a epiderme da Terra e as culturas ao longo da história. A sua empi-ricização e a instrumentalização ocorreu por meio das noções de georelevo desenvolvido por Passarge. Onde o conceito de fisiologia da paisagem, permitiu o desenvolvimento da geoecologia da paisagem com Carl Troll e a modernização nos estudos de geomorfologia climática por meio das reflexões de Aziz Ab’Saber.

The landscape concept is polissemic and results from a philosophical and social representation. With Goethe’s reflections, Humboldt, Ritte and Richthofen in the physical geography, the landscape passed the comprehended being as the result of a relation between Land epidermis and the cultures along the history. Its empiricization and instrumentalization occurred by means of geo-relief notions developed by Passarge. Where the landscape phy-siology concept, it allowed the landscape geoecology development with Carl Troll and the modernization in the studies of climatic geomorphology by means of the reflections of Aziz Ab’Saber.
