O RACIOCÍNIO ESPACIAL NA ERA DAS TECNOLOGIAS INFORMACIONAIS (spatial reasoning in the age of informational technologies)
Abstract
ABSTRACT
In the world contemporary, or, more necessarily, in this age of the instantaneous and simultaneous information, the geographic reasoning if has detached e, simultaneously, if modified by means of new social and technological aspects. The present study it was carried through with nineteen integrant professors of some courses of formation of professor of geography of public and private institutions of diverse regions of Brazil. These professors have used the new technologies and/or searched and produced works the respect of them in the geography education. Ahead of this, we pursue the study in the search of if answering the following investigation: new technologies and space reasoning: but what this has to see? The current technologies, as vehicles of information, do not have the purpose to develop “to know to think the space” or to carry through the “space reasoning”, but exactly without this purpose the people learn geography, think with the presence of these technologies. The geography education contributed for the formation of diverse people by means of the development of the carried through space reasoning in two different scales, of the place to the global one, showing joints between the diverse levels of bstraction, since the space of the work until its insertion in a society that if it internationalizes in sped up way.
Key words: Space reasoning, new technologies, Geographyteaching.
