DINÂMICA AMBIENTAL COMO CRITÉRIO PARA O ZONEAMENTO DO LITORAL LESTE DE FORTALEZA - CE (environmental dynamic criteria for planning of east coast of Fortaleza – Ceará - northeast Brazil)
Abstract

ABSTRACT
The territory ordering at any scale level should be based on criteria involving the both the geographic space attributes and their interactions. The dynamic behavior of environmental systems, combined with use and occupation conditions, served as the basis for the structuring of an integrated environmental zoning proposal for Fortaleza´s east coast. Following a methodology based on environmental analysis and on the theory of geosystems and ecodinamics, geocartographic surveys, analysis of aerial and satellite photographs and field checking were carried through in order to achieve the objectives of this research. The proposed zoning for the study area is composed of five areas: intangible zone, primitive zone, extensive use zone, intensive use zone and recovery zone.
